Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Apprentice


Education:

Vocational or Technical Training by an Approved Training Organization


Experience:

Aircraft/mechanical


Certification/Training:

  •  » Enrollment in AME apprentice program
  •  » Must pass fit test training
  •  » Must participate in training and be willing to utilize applicable information

Responsibilities;

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice is responsible to the Senior Production Manager for but not limited to the following:

:

  •  » Perform maintenance on aircraft as directed by the Project Leader or Senior Production Manager
  •  » Read and interpret instructions, diagrams, schematics, tables and charts
  •  » Use tools required
  •  » Perform tasks and complete jobs in a timely fashion
  •  » Record work performed and discrepancies in accordance with company procedures and CARs
  •  » Report airworthiness discrepancies to the Project Leader
  •  » Organize and maintain a clean work environment in the hangar
  •  » Work safely
  •  » Work overtime from time to time as required and arranged by Senior Production Manager
  •  » Submit time cards daily; ensure time spent on various tasks is recorded accurately
  •  » Other duties as assigned by the Senior Production Manager
  •  » Report any quality issues, damage, injury or inappropriate actions, and/or behaviour of any co-workers to your supervisor immediately

Remuneration:

  •  » This is an hourly position with company benefits

  •  » The wage is commensurate with the company Wage Range for this position
