Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - "M" License


Education:

High School Diploma, Completion of College; Technical Training


Experience:

Years of Licensed Aircraft Maintenance experience is preferred


Certification/Training:

  •  » AME "M" Aircraft License
  •  » Must pass fit test training
  •  » Must participate in training and be willing to utilize applicable information

Responsibilities;

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineer is responsible to the Senior Production Manager for but not limited to the following:


  •  » Repair, replace, assemble and install aircraft parts
  •  » Test the operation of aircraft systems and trouble-shoot problems
  •  » Read and interpret instructions, diagrams, schematics, tables and charts
  •  » Inspect parts for wear or other defects
  •  » Perform work including checks and verifications in accordance with the work order, quality procedures and checklists
  •  » Act as Project Leader from time to time as directed by the Senior Project Manager
  •  » Conduct and record routine and special inspections as required by regulations
  •  » Certify that maintenance practices meet standards
  •  » Record work performed and discrepancies in accordance with company procedures and CARs
  •  » Organize and maintain a clean work environment in the hangar
  •  » Perform tasks and complete jobs in a timely manner
  •  » Work overtime from time to time as required and arranged by Senior Production Manager
  •  » Other duties as assigned by the Senior Production Manager

Remuneration:

  •  » This is an hourly position with company benefits
  •  » Tool Program for those who qualify
  •  » The wage is commensurate with the company Wage Range for this position
