Education:

High School Diploma, Completion of College or Technical in Avionics


Experience:

1 to 3 Years of Aircraft System Installations


Languages:

Speak English, Read English, Write English


Main Responsibility:

The Avionics Technician reports directly to the Production Manager. The duties include but are not limited to:

  • Installation of aircraft avionics systems, including electrical, entertainment and instruments.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft defects and carry out corrective action.
  • Perform work including checks and verifications in accordance with the work order, quality procedures and checklists.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and written technical instructions.
  • Record work performed and discrepancies in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform work in accordance with Transport Canada and FAA Guidelines.
  • Additional duties as are assigned to all staff from time to time as required by the Director of Maintenance.

Large piston airplanes, Small turboprops, Large turboprops, Small jet airplanes, Large jet airplanes
